| The rectangular buckle measures 1-7/8 inches (47 mm) high by 2-1/2 inches (63 mm) wide. The buckle is made to fit a 1-3/4 inch (45 mm) wide belt. This buckle was nicely die-struck from aluminum in a very well-made die. The backside is well-marked with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM or State Materials Authority) logo, the RZM number 4/39 and the F.W. Assmann & Söhne (Lüdenscheid, Germany) A logo. The claws on the belt attachment both have cone-shaped points. |
