PANZERARMEE AFRIKA

This is an excellent unused example of the very, very rare ,,PANZERARMEE AFRIKA KALENDER 1943’’ as published by Wilhelm Limpert Verlag in Berlin, Germany under the auspices of the Reichs Minister für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda, Dr. Joseph Goebbels in 1942.

The 4-1/8 x 6 inch, 172 page illustrated hard cover pocket size book contains an excellent 15 x 20 inch 1:5,000 000 scale full-color map of North Africa in a special pocket inside the back cover.

Naturally, the book starts with a portrait of Adolf Hitler and then delves into the flora and fauna of Africa. There is a colorful star chart, a continental map and statistics related to the countries in Africa.

Pages 25 to 128 are the calendar pages with spaces provided for notes on each day. They are followed by Italian Armed Forces uniform insignia of rank, information about Islam and Mohammedans, a German - Italian - French - English - Arabic - Haussa and Swahili dictionary, and general climate and health information for Africa.

This rare pocket calendar book is in excellent, unused condition.
