MULTI-PIECE CONSTRUCTION
This is a standard original Third Reich example of the 4 x 14 inch (10 x 36 cm) Hitler Youth armband, a woven red and white band with a 2-1/2 x 2-1/2 inch woven swastika diamond of the Hitlerjugend sewed on it in the center. It is seamed in the back so it has to be pulled over the hand and up the sleeve to be worn.
It is somewhat soiled but should launder or dry clean nicely. There are a few loose threads on the edges and a small bite out of one edge on the back side.

This is a beautiful original Third Reich example of the 3-5/8 x 15-1/4 inch (92 x 385 mm) very dark blue (nearly black) wool felt armband with a 2-1/4 x 3 inch woven three-color emblem of the National Socialist Reichskriegerbund (NS RKB or State War Veteran's Association) sewed on it. The armband has a hem at the top and bottom, rolled over and stitched in a manner common to many Nazi paramilitary organization armbands.
The Reichskriegerbund was given very special attention by the SS and their annual conventions in Kassel, Germany were held under the auspices of the Reichsführer-SS and were even attended Heinrich Himmler and Adolf Hitler, along with a myriad of very high-ranking Nazi military and political officials.
RKB armbands are difficult to find, especially in this wonderful condition. No mothing, very good condition.
