This is a beautiful example of a very rare Hitler-Jugend book ,,Adolf Hitlermarsch der deutschen Jugend’’ (The Adolf Hitler March of German Youth). The 7 x 10-1/4 inch very heavily illustrated 108 page book by Horst Kerutt was published by the Zentralverlag der NSDAP, Franz Eher Nachfolger in München (Munich), Germany in 1939.

Following a facsimile of a handwritten greeting from HJ Leader Baldur von Schirach, the book recaps the history of the Adolf Hitler Marches of German Youth from throughout Germany to Nürnberg from 1929 to 1939.

The book is nicely composed of a great many many wonderful but obscure full-page photos of members of the Hitler Youth on their marches everywhere in the country, interspersed with first hand reports of what they encountered en route.

Those reports tend to be from one short paragraph to almost a chapter in length, and all of them relate an interesting episode in the experience of the marchers. Each report is clearly attributed to a specific HJ unit.

The pictures are not at all the same old Hitler Youth photos to be found in other publications, but unique full-page pictures of HJ boys and girls parading the flag and marching through Germany. They are not beautiful scenery pictures but close-up photos that clearly show uniform details, HJ flags, Hitler Youth Leader daggers, etc., etc.

This example of ,,Adolf Hitlermarsch der deutschen Jugend’’ is complete with its original, colorful dust jacket and is in excellent condition.
