This is an excellent example of the rare 6 x 8-1/2 inch, 140 page, heavily illustrated hard cover book Das Schibuch der Hitlerjugend (The Ski Book of the Hitler Youth) as published by Roman Schnabel for the Reichsjugendführung der NSDAP by Verlag Franz Eher Nachfolger in München (Munich), Germany in 1943.
It is the basic ski manual for the HJ from beginner through jumping and cross country skiing. As with most German books of this type from the World War II era, it leaves nothing open to question but covers every aspect of the subject right down to the most minute detail. Well illustrated with photos by Kussy and Blumenthal.
