This is a very good example of the 4-3/4 x 7-1/2 inch, 160 page book ,,Jiu-Jitsu und Judo’’ by German Police Inspector Josef Diwischek, Jiu-Jitsu instructor of the Vienna Police and at the University of Vienna. The book was published by Tagblatt Bibliothek of Leipzig and Wien but without a date. It is certain that it was published after April 1938 because the prices of book advertised inside the front cover are in Nazi Reichsmarks and not in Austrian Schilling.

With over 130 clear black & white photographs, the Nazi Police Inspector explains what Jiu-Jitsu is, about Judo, and the origins of both. The photos show various disarmament and take-down techniques of opponents armed with pistols, knives and unarmed. The standard Third Reich police text on the subject.

In very good condition.
