Mahrische Schoenberg Sparkasse, Konto Breslau 47401
People who received their education about World War II history from sources like The History Channel, any modern liberal arts college, or public schools will probably have difficulty dealing with this rare, remarkable Nazi document. It highlights the administrative aspect of the Nazi government and concentration camp system, and how incredibly minutia oriented the Nazis were!

This is an official Zweitschrift, a Vienna police office archival copy of a reimbursement claim for the cost of meals and care during transport of five prisoners from a police border holding facility in Eisenstadt to Konzentrationslager Sachsenhausen, the Nazi concentration camp at Oranienburg, just over 20 miles north of Berlin.
On 24 September 1941, five male prisoners Karl Szlovak, Franz Galgoczi, Laszlo Feher, Frigors Horvath and Franz Nagy, were transported from a Grenzpolizei (border police) station in Eisenstadt to K.L. Sachsenhausen ("Then & Now" reference photo shown below) and a stop was made in the town of Mährische Schönberg (Sudetenland) from 15:57 on 24 September until 07:53 on 25 September 1941. This reimbursement request itemizes the expenses occurred for breakfast and dinner, as well as care during transport, for a total of 7.75 Reichsmarks, the equivalent of US$ 3.10!!!

The 8-¼ x 11-¾ inch form states that payment of charges was required to be made to an account with the cryptic title "Breslau 47401" in the Stadthauptkasse (a bank) in Schönberg, Moravia, Sudetenland. The letter bears the official rubber stamp of the city of Mährische Schönberg.
This 78 year old archival office copy of a bill for the care of Nazi prisoners on their way to Sachsenhausen concentration camp is guaranteed to be 100% original to the Third Reich, with two punch holes on the left edge, exactly as shown. It provides an incredible glimpse into the Nazi bureaucracy and their need to account for a few dollars spent sending five men to a notorious Nazi concentration camp. Please read the text below explaining the origins of this rare historical document.
