AN INVITATION
TO AND A
MEMORIAL
BOOKLET
FROM THE
1939
KREISTAG
IN KREIS
BUCHEN
This is a wonderful set of Third Reich documents from the Kreistag (Area Days) of the NSDAP or Nazi Party in the city of Buchen east of Köln (Cologne) in Westfalen Nord in 1939. The Kreis Days were held from 13 - 15 May 1939 and the 4-1/2 x 14 inch (folds to 4-1/2 x 7 inches) deckle edged eagle and swastika emblazoned invitation is signed by the Kreisleiter.

The booklet measures about 6 x 8 inches and contains 20 pages of information including full-page photographs of German Chancellor Adolf Hitler, the Gauleiter and Kreisleiter Ullmer.

Kreistag der NSDAP
A four-page pink section in the middle of the booklet gives full particulars of the events of each day of the Kreistage on an hour-by-hour basis. Some of those events are a musical concert, a music and fireworks evening, a Volksfest on the sports grounds (with competitions featuring the SS, SA, HJ and NSKK), a children’s festival, etc.
As was common with such events, the Nazi Party tried to feature its various organizations from the NSBO and Frauenschaft all the way to the German Red Cross.

This is very important and historical for anyone studying the Nazi concept of Kreis Days. Graphically it is very interesting and the ticket and brochure are rarely found together as a set.
This NSDAP Kreistag material is **SOLD**.
