This lot consists of three different wartime issues of premier Nazi car, truck and plane magazine MOTOR und SPORT (Motors and Sports). The illustrated weekly were all subjects related to power sports. The issues are Editions A of 10 December and 17 December 1939 and 2 June 1940.
These 9 x 12 inch magazines were published at Pössneck, Germany and carried all the news about motors, vehicles, aircraft, and their uses in military and civilian applications around the world but mostly in Germany. There is also lots of advertising for motor related products, cartoons, puzzles, etc.
These issues of MOTOR und SPORT contain articles on motorized Wehrmacht troops, aircraft carriers, the Milan Motorcycle Show, German military blackout lights, U-Boats, motorcycle seats, Russian aircraft, Schnellboats, motorcycle racing, automobile accidents, tractors, travel in Norway, photos of German troops on the West Front, etc.
