This is a very good original Third Reich porcelain salt cellar made in Germany for use on Nazi Party dining tables and/or Wehrmacht messhalls or barracks.
Each cavity is about 2-1/4 inches in diameter and overall the piece is 4-1/4 inches long by about 1-1/4 inches high.
Nicely marked under the glaze with a Nazi eagle and swastika and the manufacturer's logo of the china producer Rhenania of Duisdorf, a small town on the outskirts of Bonn.

Rhenania was a china manufacturer before the war and like more famous companies such as Rosenthal and Bauscher Weiden, the company was approved by the DAF to procude china for the NSDAP and Wehrmacht. The company is still in business today.
The piece we offer here has been used and during the manufacturing process some bubbles appeared in the glazing. It is however, in very good condition and GUARANTEED authentic Third Reich material at least 65 years old.
