This is a very well preserved complete example of the book Rang und Organisationsliste der NSDAP (Rank and Organization Structure of the NSDAP) covering the NSDAP and its affiliated organizations, groups, service offices and personnel groups as published for German Officials involved in investigating the Nazi Party after World War II.

The 8-1/4 x 11-3/4 inch thumb-tabbed 56 page very well illustrated book is the "Second Corrected and Expanded Edition" of only 5000 copies as published by W. Kohlhammer Verlag in Stuttgart in January 1947 in compliance with German Law 104 of 5 March 1946 concerning "Liberation from National Socialism and Militarism."

In addition to color illustrations of both older and newer Nazi Party insigne of rank, big fold-out charts in this book depict the political leadership of the NSDAP.

A big 16 x 21 inch fold-out "Table of Ranks" is the best graphic we've ever seen depicting Nazi organizations from the Wehrmacht and Organisation Todt to the SS, Police, NSKK, HJ, etc. (14 groups in all).

There is also an excellent 18 x 27 inch fold-out chart of Nazi Party Leadership, office-by-office from the Führer to Reichsleiter to Gauleiter, Kreisleiter, Ortsgruppe, Zelle and Block classifying everyone in categories corresponding to their predetermined level of complicity in the "Crimes of National Socialism and Militarism."

A rare edition of a very rare book in fine condition, full of obscure Nazi organizational information.
