Lots of interesting advertising from companies targeting model airplane fans: Uhu glue, Sperl, Meco, as well as ads for tools, airplane books, etc. These five 80 year old magazines are in very good used condition.
This lot consists of FIVE heavily illustrated original issues of the rare NSFK (the National Socialist Flying Corps) model airplane magazine Deutsche Luftwacht Modellflug published by the well-known Nazi publisher Verlag E.S. Mittler & Sohn of Berlin. They are the 8-1/4 x 11-1/2 inch issues of July, August, September, October and November of the year 1939 filled with aviation information for model airplanes.
Subjects covered are wind resistance, aerodynamics, propellors, kites, parachutes, compasses, motorized model planes, weight limitations, model airplane frames, information for NSFK members, NSFK championship results, etc.
The 77 pages in these heavily illustrated Nazi aviation magazines have lots of diagrams, photos and each magazine still has the original fold-out model airplane plan in the back. The October 1939 issue starts with an article about the "Liberated air space over Poland".
