Prevent Traffic Accidents - Discipline in Traffic is Duty! is a heavily illustrated 32-page Third Reich booklet published by the NSV, the Nationalsozialistische Volkswohlfahrt or National Socialist People's Welfare organization of the Nazi Party. The 4-1/8x 5-7/8 inch booklet stresses the importance of safety in traffic, disciplined participation by everybody on the road in cars, on bicycles, as well as pedestrians.

There are chapters explaining the different roads and highways, basic traffic rules, speed limits, license plates, vehicle lighting, what to do when encountering marching soldiers or blind people on public roads, driving with a trailer, using publics roads on horseback, and exceptions for police, fire and military vehicles.

Inside the front and back cover are color examples of traffic signs. On the back cover, below the 1-¼ inch round orange NSV logo are additional admonitions about ones duties when participating in traffic. Safety above all!

This undated pocket-size example of Kampf dem Verkehrsunfall! is complete and in very nice, little used condition. It has no unpleasant odor.
