PIMPFE is a 160 page Third Reich book on the Deutsches Jungvolk by Heinz Ehring and Herbert Reinecker as published by Verlag Dr. Friedrich Osmer in Berlin without a date. It is illustrated with lots of picture of boys and their Jungvolk regalia (even pictures of small boys wearing big helmets and eating from army messkits).
The book PIMPFE was clearly written for the parents of potential Hitler Youth members. It shows the brotherhood of these boys in a militarized Boy Scout circumstance on the move, in their camps, participating in sport and paramilitary activities, etc. It does a better job of outlining and showing the lives of the German young people of the HJ than anything else we have seen.
This example of PIMPFE and its hard cover are in excellent condition. It comes with its original dust jacket which has absorbed a bit of wear and discoloration over the years.
