| This is a fine original example of the standard belt buckle to be worn with the uniform of an officer of the Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD or State Labor Service) during the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler. The round center portion of the buckle measures 1-7/8 inches (47 mm) in diameter and the buckle is made to fit a 1-3/4 inch (45 mm) wide belt. |

| This buckle was nicely die-struck from aluminum in a very well-made die. The backside is well-marked with an F.W. Assmann & Söhne (Lüdenscheid, Germany) A logo, the letters DRGM for Deutsches Reich Gebrauchsmuster (Made In Accordance With The German State Pattern Sample) and the number 38.
A used buckle in very good condition. Absolutely guaranteed to have been manufactured in Germany prior to 1 May 1945. |
