This is a fine 5-1/4 x 7-3/4 inch (folds to 3-7/8 x 5-1/4 inch) SA Ausweis or SA identity card, in the name of SA Mann Jakob Paul of SA Brigade 47 Standarte (or Sturm) 167 in Volkmarshausen, just northeast of Kassel, Germany.

It is dated 10 January 1935 and is properly signed and stamped. Jakob Paul was a 30 year old locksmith and is shown in his ID picture in his Brown Shirt and coffee can style Nazi visor cap. The card is stamped on the back for each month of 1935.

The second piece in this grouping is a card in Paul’s name showing that he donated money in January and February 1936 to the Hilfskasse or Relief Fund of the N.S.D.A.P. in his hometown, the village of Crumbach. Very good condition.
