This is a fine original 8-3/4 x 12 inch (folds to 6 x 8-3/4 inches) German language Waffen-SS recruiting brochure produced to entice young Belgian men to join their Volksdeutsche brothers from Hungary, Rumania, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Slovakia and Croatia in the largest international volunteer army ever assembled - the Waffen-SS.

The brochure implores the “Volksdeutscher Kamerad” to hear the Führer’s call, put on the field grey jacket and to protect Großdeutschland (Greater Germany) from the Bolsheviks and Anglo-American Jewish capitalism.

The brochure entitled ,,Dich ruft die SS'' or “The SS Calls You” also promises land in the East after the war to the young Germanic men who volunteer for service with units of the Waffen-SS.

A tear-off postcard for those wishing to join is part of the brochure and bears the address of the Waffen-SS recruiting office in Douai, Belgium.
