This is an obscure, incredibly rare, 100% original 1938 publication by SS-Gruppenführer Pohl of the Verwaltungsamt-SS called Allgemeine SS Artikel- und Preisliste Nr. 3 für die Bekleidung und Ausrüstung der Schutzstaffeln der NSDAP. It is a genuine 1938 catalog and price list "for official use only" (Nur für den Dienstgebrauch!) listing items and prices for SS uniforms, SS helmets, SS daggers, SS boots, SS belts, SS insignia, SS cuff titles, SS armbands, backpacks and other accessories and equipment for members of the SS as well as metal and cloth SS flags, SS pennants and the metal and plastic frames used to mount them on car fenders, SS gorgets, etc.

In February 1942 Pohl became the head of the new SS-Wirtschafts-Verwaltungshauptamt (SS-WVHA or the SS Main Office for Economic Administration), the office was in charge of the Lebensborn eV. and the concentration camp system and the use of slave labor in concentration camp industries. On 20 April 1942 he was promoted to SS-Obergruppenführer and General of the Waffen-SS. Later the same year he married Eleonore von Brüning, the widow of one of the founders of IG Farben. Pohl was convicted of war crimes in Nürnberg in 1947 and after several appeals was hanged on 7 June 1951 at Landsberg Prison in Landsberg am Lech, Germany.

Oswald Pohl was an early Freikorps member, a member of the SA and a member of the Nazi Party from 1926. He became the Chief of Administration of the SS and the SS Treasurer in 1935, he oversaw the Nazi Konzentrationslager or concentration camp system and was heavily involved in Heinrich Himmler's Projekt Wewelsburg.

There is a foreword by SS-Gruppenführer Pohl in which he explains which category of SS material is covered in this catalog, and which items are not included. Order procedures (including Privatbeschaffung or private orders) are explained as well.

This 5-¾ x 8-¼ inch, 64 page soft cover Third Reich SS catalog contains a lot of incredibly detailed important information. The Command Flag for Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler is item number 1431 in this catalog and has a cost of RM 47.40 (US $18.95).
