MOST ANTI-SEMITIC OF NAZI BOOKS!

Antisemitismus der Welt in Wort und Bild
,,ANTISEMITISMUS DER WELT
IN WORT UND BILD’’

(ANTI-SEMITISM OF THE
WORLD IN TEXT AND PICTURES)

“THE WORLDWIDE DISPUTE
REGARDING THE
JEWISH QUESTION”

This is a very good example of the extremely rare book ,,Antisemitismus der Welt in Wort und Bild’’ (Anti-Semitism of the World in Text and Pictures) “The Worldwide Dispute Regarding the Jewish Question” by Professor Dr. Theodor Pugel as published by M. Groh in Dresden in 1936.
The book is dedicated on a full-page before the title page to “The Untiring Fighter Against Judaism, Frankenführer [of the Nazi Party] Julius Streicher”.
Anti-Semitism in Deutschland
Streicher (hanged at Nürnberg in 1946) is invariably described as Nazi Germany’s “Leading Jew Baiter”, “Rabble Rouser”, “Corrupt”, “Sadistic”, “Brutal” and “Obscene”. He rose with the Nazi Party in Germany from an unknown elementary schoolteacher to owner and publisher of nearly a dozen newspapers including the national mass-circulation ,,Der Stürmer’’ (The Stormer).
anti-Jewish art
The Nürnberg War Crimes Tribunal held that “Streicher’s incitement to murder and extermination, at the time when Jews in the East were being killed under the most horrible conditions, constitutes persecution on political and racial grounds... and a crime against humanity”.
Frankenführer Julius Streicher
Streicher regarded his trial and death sentence as “a Triumph for World Jewry” and went to the scaffold angrily shouting, “Purimfest!” and proclaiming his eternal loyalty to Hitler. There is a full-page portrait of Streicher tipped-in between pages 240 and 241 of this book.

,,Antisemitismus der Welt in Wort und Bild’’ was the guidebook for anti-semitism in Third Reich Germany. The huge 9 x 11-1/2 inch, 326 page, 4-1/2 pound, very heavily illustrated hardcover book covered the subject of anti-semitism as no other. Beginning with the time of the ruler Tiberius, it traces the growth and promotion of anti-semitism in the Orient and Rome through the Middle Ages and into the 1800s.

anti-semitism in the Middle Ages
The book then concentrates its great bulk on modern anti-semitism in Africa, America, England, France, Northern and Eastern Europe, Austria and Hungary. The last 100+ pages deal with anti-semitism in Germany with many photographs of Semites and anti-Semites.
Jews
This is NOT a book for the sensitive or timid as it deals starkly and specifically with anti-semitism and has nothing good to say about Jews, their art, their influence, politics, etc.

After the war this book was considered to be very dangerous by the victorious Allies so de-Nazification commissions sought it out for destruction. Very few copies survived. The example of ,,Antisemitismus der Welt in Wort und Bild’’ we offer here is in very good condition and complete with the rarely seen original dust jacket.
