RARE NSDAP RACIAL DOCUMENT

Official Nazi Party Certification of
Pure German (Aryan) Blood

In Germany during the Third Reich a certificate providing proof of Aryan blood was required of any citizen who wished to exercise his or her civil rights, join a Nazi paramilitary organization or join the Nazi Party. Naturally, those certificates are now extremely hard to find and highly sought after by collectors.

This certificate (number 335, dated 24 August 1939) is from the Racial-Political Office of the Nazi Party in Kreis Baden, Gau Niederdonau, Germany in the name of a married woman, Marie Antoinette Moritz Petras, born on 27 October 1914. It certifies that Mrs. Petras is “Arier” (aryan) or of pure, Aryan German blood (word underlined in black) AND certifies that she is NOT of Jewish or mixed Jewish ancestry (words struck through in black).

The certificate is complete on the front side with a signature and the purple seal of the Racial-Political Office of the Nazi Party of Kreisleitung Baden.

The backside of the document is also complete and contains a notarized family tree of the Moritz, Kaindl, Menzl and Segmüller families as far back as Petras’ grandparents in 1855!

This document was folded at one time but is in very good condition.
