This is a lot of five original publications for the Bund deutscher Mädel (BdM or League of German Girls). All five are complete and original to the period of the Third Reich in Germany.
The issue of Die Mädelschaft (a subsidiary of the Reichsjugendführung der NSDAP) is dated Summer 1938 and is an educational publication for members of the BdM. It is a special edition on the youth of Nazi Führer und Reichskanzler Adolf Hitler and the 48 pages cover the area where he was born and grew up, his parents, school, his time in Vienna and rise to power. lt contains pictures of Hitler and art by Hitler, song lyrics and tips for other appropriate reading material. Complete and in very good condition.
The very rare Verwaltungs Dienstvorschriften I für NSDAP Hitler-Jugend or HJ Administration Service Regulations publication is dated November 1935 and has a foreword by HJ-Reichskassenverwalter Georg Berger inside the front cover about the importance of proper financial practices within the HJ. The 24 pages have detailed information for HJ and BdM Leaders about administration, membership dues, paying bills, transferring money, cash accounting, etc. Rare, complete and in very good condition.
The three issues of BdM Führerinnen-Dienst are heavily illustrated publications for BdM Leaders from Gau Oberdonau that explain how to educate BdM girls. They are dated January 1941, March 1941 and April 1941 and the covers are embossed with the HJ diamond. Subjects covered are the War Effort, Parents Evening, Ski Outings, Sport, Wood Carving, Health and there are Hitler quotes and song lyrics as well.
All three are complete and the contents is in very good condition. The original covers of the March and April examples are discolored as seen in our photos at the top of this USMBOOKS web page.
