The beautiful display case offered here contains a 15 x 15 cm (5.9 x 5.9 inch) white Villeroy & Boch tile recovered from the rubble of Adolf Hitler's alpine home Der Berghof on the Obersalzberg above the small Bavarian town of Berchtesgaden in June 1987.
There is a Certificate of Authenticity attached to the inside of the top panel of the display case, signed and dated by author Ray Cowdery who recovered the tile himself 25 years ago. The magnificent handmade replica of the Führerstandarte on the front panel of the display case is a work of art all by itself.
