This is one of the best and most important Third Reich maps of Berlin, Germany.

It measures about 32 x 36 inches and shows all the railway lines entering and circling Berlin and their stations along the routes. The Reichsautobahn and each of its interchanges is shown in red.

This map was published by the Deutsche Reichsbahn - Reichsbahndirektion Berlin to depict their system as of October 1939. There was no subsequent map printed during World War II. In addition to the railways and Autobahn, the map shows all highways and major thoroughfares as well as lakes, rivers, parks, forests, churches, airports, etc.

The map shows the Berlin metropolitan area from the vicinity of Oranienburg on the north, to Teupitz on the south. The detail, color and condition is wonderful. There is a 6 inch tear and a 2 inch tear along two of the many folds, but no taping. The price of the map (15 Reichspfennigs) is written on the face of it in blue pencil. A rare item in nice condition.
