Der deutsche Baumeister (The German Master Builder) magazine was the monthly of the Fachgruppe Bauwesen eV (the Professional Group for Construction Activity Registered Society) in the Bund deutscher Technik or German Technical Association.
This lot of 9-1/4 x 11-3/4 inch magazines consist of three rare issues - Issue 8, Year 4 from August 1942, Issue 9, Year 4 from September 1942, and Issue 10, Year 4 from October 1942.

Illustrated articles in the 36-page September 1942 issue of Der deutsche Baumeister include Deployment of German Workers at the Front, a Visit by Many Dignitaries to the Grave of Dr.Ing. Fritz Todt, Farmhouses, the Stone Industry in the Ukraine, Operational Goals of Construction Management in Wartime, etc. This magazine contains notices of the deaths in combat of many members of the Fachgruppe Bauwesen eV. and the 8-page “Renewing the Homeland” supplement with the subject of protecting the Landscape during Construction, Green Space, etc.
The illustrated articles in the 32-page October 1942 issue of Der deutsche Baumeister has a cover image of an Organisation Todt (OT) construction site in Norway. Illustrated articles include a Statement by Adolf Hitler about the Osteinsatz, the War Front and Construction Work, New Regulations for Construction, Manufacturing Producer Gas from Wood and Charcoal at Remote Locations with the Portable Keller-Trüb Oven, etc.
