This is a very nice example of the excellent 3-7/8 x 6-7/8 inch, 64 page, very heavily illustrated, full-color pocket size soft cover book ,,Deutsche Uniformen” (German Uniforms) as published by Verlag Moritz Ruhl in Leipzig, Germany. It is one of the best and handiest guidebooks to German Third Reich uniforms, Nazi caps, insignia of rank, sword knots, etc. every published.

It shows daggers and dagger hangers, gorgets, helmets, visor caps, service caps, specialist insigne, collar tabs, shakos, shoulder boards, and other common elements of uniforms for the army (Heer), navy (Kriegsmarine), air force (Luftwaffe), Labor Service (Reichsarbeitsdienst or RAD), SS, SA, NSFK, NSKK, RLB, HJ, DJ, Polizei and Gendarmerie, etc.

We bought this small, thick, informative book in Germany some time ago. It is in very good condition and we can not tell if it is an old orignal or a reproduction. It is not marked as a reproduction (we think all reproductions should be) but even if it is the information in it is still perfecty useful and the price is reasonable.
