This is the only example of the 9-3/4 x 12-1/4 inch, 28 page, very heavily illustrated Nazi magazine Echo Continental we have ever seen.

The front cover of the April/May 1938 magazine has one of the most colorful paintings produced in Nazi times, showing German troops in command cars welcomed by the citizens of Innsbruck flying red, white and black Nazi swastika banners by the dozens.

Inside, on page 1 is a photo of Adolf Hitler, Hühnlein, Jakob Werlin (in a SS uniform), Ferdinand Porsche and others examining a scale model of the KdF Wagen or Volkswagen Beetle. Other articles deal with the Anschluß or reunification of Austria with Germany, the beginning of the new Reichsautobahn from Salzburg to Wien, motorcycle racing, off-road races and the Wehrmacht college for motor vehicles.

Spine is worn and the center page is loose but everything is there and the graphics are in great condition.
