This is a completely original new-old-stock, never mailed example of the 250 page, 4-1/2 x 6-1/2 inch Wilhelm von Scholz Feldpost book ,,Das Buch des Lachens - Schnurren, Schwänke und Anekdoten’’ (The Book of Laughs - Jokes, Funny Stories and Anecdotes) as published by the Feldpost Bücher section of Deutscher Verlag in Berlin in 1938.

The book is made so that the cover is also the mailing package, and all the buyer had to do was to put the name and Feldpost number of a Wehrmacht or Waffen-SS soldier on it and drop it in the mail.

A unique piece of German World War II military history in very good condition.
