This is an absolutely authentic Führer proclamation or paper broadside measuring about 10 x 17 inches. It is printed in black ink on newsprint paper and was folded three times by the man in Wien (Vienna, the second largest city in Großdeutschland) who saved it during the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler.
The translation of the headline on the proclamation is:
“The Führer to the German People! Germany will not Capitulate Again!” and it is centered between an eagle and swastika on each end. It is dated 3 September 1939 (as Germany and the Soviet Union were dividing the country of Poland) and explains that the “Germany of 1939 is not the Germany of 1914.”
It goes on to say that England had better believe that 90 million Germans were united in their determination to avenge Polish atrocities and that Britain should “butt-out”.
Printed for the Nazi Party in Gau Wien by Waldheim-Eberle, the same company that printed many editions of Mein Kampf. This is a fine example of an extremely rare original Nazi broadside from the week World War II began!
