This is a nice used example of the rare 7-3/4 x 8-1/2 inch, 86 page, very heavily illustrated hard cover book NUR KEIN SCHEMA! - LACHENDE GEBIRGSJÄGER AM POLARKREIS (Please No Schedule! - Laughing Mountain Troopers at the Arctic Circle) by Major Albert Hohenester and Oberleutnant Gosta Nordhaus as published by Nationalsozialistische Gauverlag Tirol in Innsbruck, Germany in 1941.

In wonderful detailed illustrations this book tells the story of the deployment of the mules and men of a Styrian, Tiroler and Corinthian Gebirgsjäger / Fallschirmjäger (Nazi paratroopers) unit from Germany to Occupied Norway during World War II.
Nazi soldiers
Funny cartoons, show realistic Gebirgsjäger in every conceivable comic situation from parachuting with skis on and taming seals to hunting and fishing and dealing with the enemy. Naturally, the subject of relations between the German Landsers and the female element of the Norwegian population is well covered. Back cover is somewhat dirty but the book is in good used condition.
