Gestapo letter 1941
This is an absolutely original 210 x 295 mm (about 8-1/4 x 11-5/8 inches) letter on the letterhead of the Geheime Staatspolizei Staatspolizeistelle Wien regarding file number 5.996/41-II B/J. It was written on 18 November 1941 to the Regierungspräsidenten Dr. Dellbrügge in the office of the Reichsstatthalter, the highest legal authority in that part of Germany.

The contents of the letter state that effective immediately, people of German blood who are openly friendly with Jews in public will be subject to strict police discipline. Such behavior is in absolute violation of one of the grounding principals of National Socialism and thus it shows contempt for the government. Therefore, an order by the Reichssicherheits Hauptamt (RSHA) will require punishment of both the Aryan person and the Jews in these cases.

The letter is attested to and sealed by Huber of the Gestapo with a purple Gestapo stamp.
