This is a fine, faithful reprint (but in the English language) of the incredibly rare SS Gedenkheft or memorial book published in honor of the funeral of 38 year old Reinhard Heydrich, Chefs des Reichssicherheitshauptamt und stellvertretenden Reichsprotektors von Böhmen und Mähren (Head of the Reich Main Security Office and Deputy Reichsprotector of Bohemia and Moravia) who died in Prague on 4 June 1942 as a result of sepsis after an assassination attempt by Czech commandos sent from England, on 27 May 1942.

IMPORTANT: the book we are selling on this USMBOOKS web page is a 8-¼ x 11-¾ inch, 44 page reprint of the original book but with English language text. It was produced in 1993 by Ulric of England Research Unit and published by Ulric Publishing in England. This 26 year old example is in very good, near-new condition on better quality paper that the German original and contains all the original photographs.

Originals of the 1993 English language edition of this book like the one we are selling here, are very difficult to find and even examples from the 2001 reprinting of our 1993 printing sell for $250 to over $500 depending on their condition. As mentioned above, this one is fine lightly used condition and won't last long.
