If you have been reading the newspapers or watching television lately, you must be aware that the Justice Minister of Germany on orders from Chancellor Gerhard Schröder, has insisted that the Italian Government prevent a vintner from producing and selling “Führerwein” with a picture of Germany’s 21st Chancellor Adolf Hitler on the label. The sale of the Führerwein is of course, illegal in Germany and the German Government would love to require other sovereign governments to make it illegal all over our solar system.

Boy, don’t you wish the United States would join the International Court of Justice so some nut-case like German Justice Minister Brigitte Zypries could make similar demands of you?

The Italian winery of Alessandro Lunardelli in Coloredo di Prato has been producing “Führerwein” cabernet for over five years as a part of their “Historic Line” of wines that includes those named for Benito Mussolini and Josef Stalin.

Amazingly, Ms. Zypries and the German Government DID NOT even suggest that the Italian Government order a halt to production of the Josef Stalin wine! Not as long as Joschka Fischer and Gerhard Schröder are alive!
If you can’t live without a bottle of Lundardelli’s “Führerwein”, look no further! We will sell you this unopened 0.75 liter bottle of the historic and tasty stuff for $200.00 delivered to any street address in the USA by Priority Mail. We can’t sell it on eBay or it would probably bring $1000.00!
