ADOLF HITLER SIGNATURE ON A POSTCARD

Adolf Hitler

AN AUTHENTIC PEN AND INK
ADOLF HITLER SIGNATURE ON A RELATIVELY COMMON NAZI POSTCARD

Among the postcards autographed by Germany’s 23rd Chancellor Adolf Hitler most seem to be Hoffmann photographic cards. Naturally, people who met Hitler on short notice often asked him to autograph material they had at hand.
Hitler signature This is a relatively common 105 x 147 mm printed postcard showing Hitler accepting a bouquet of flowers from a young Hitler Youth woman. On the right sleeve of his raincoat Hitler has signed his autograph in ink with a pen. The card was used (probably before Hitler ever signed it) and bears a postmark of 7 July 1939. On the back side of the postcard there is a remnant at the top of a postal hinge, and at the bottom and at both ends there is evidence of the removal of postal hinges that no doubt one held this prized possession in someone’s album.
