This is an excellent, big 14 x 20 inch (folds to 10 x 14 inches) cream colored official Third Reich government document promoting Regierungsassesser (Government Professional), Dr. Josef Fiala, to Regierungsrat (Privy Counselor).

A promotion like this one was a very meaningful thing, and this document signed “In the Name of the German Nation” over the signature of Adolf Hitler, sealed, and dated at the Führer-Hauptquartier (Führer Headquarters) on 19 September 1939 would not have been taken lightly. Part of the text of the document promises Hitler’s protection to Dr. Fiala.
Der Führer und Reichskanzler
The blue ink Hitler signature appears to be printed on or applied by an autopen. The 3+ inch “Führer Seal” is perfectly embossed and the second signature (Franz ???) is done with an ink pen.
Adolf Hitler signature
The Fiala document is in very good condition and is held with a cream colored satin cord in a heavy cardstock cover of the same color, embossed in gold with a 5-1/2 inch tall Führer eagle and swastika.
