This is an absolutely original Third Reich era 62 x 100 mm (2-3/8 x 4 inch) enameled metal sign bearing the occupation and address of an electrician in Wien (Vienna), Germany (now Austria) who had a shop at Adolf-Hitler-Platz 1 (Number 1 Adolf Hitler Square).

The black and white vitreous enamel-on-metal sign was once screwed next to the door on the outside of the building in Vienna’s 25th District, where Anton Karl Schier had his shop. There are small chips on the left end but this historic piece is in nice overall condition.
