This is a very good example of the extremely rare 6 x 8-3/4 inch, 36 page, very heavily illustrated softcover book ,,Der Deutschen Jugend Gewidmet’’ (The Dedication of German Youth) as published in Japan by the Japanese Government, probably in about 1940.

Imperial Japanese soldiers The booklet begins with a full-page, full-color Nazi flag and ends with a full-page, full-color Imperial Japanese flag. In between are full- and half-page photos of German Hitler Jugend boys practicing kendo and archery in the shadow of Mount Fuji (Fujiyama), military uniformed Japanese youth at sea, with gliders, in study, on bivouac and undergoing field training. There are also full-page and half-page photos of the Imperial Japanese Army, Navy, Air Force, tanks and Marines in combat assault. There is no text - there are only photo captions in German.

of the back cover to
some organization,
but unfortunately we can
not read the characters.
A very rare Japanese
book that was sent
from Japan to the
Auslandsorganisation
library in Stuttgart.
We got it in Germany.
