Another of the rarest of the series of Professor Heinrich Hoffmann photo books produced during the Third Reich of German Chancellor Adolf Hitler, this 80 page, 7-1/2 x 10-1/2 inch softcover volume is titled Hitler bei dem Deutschenturn- und Sportfest Breslau 1938 (Hitler at the German Gymnastic and Sport Festival in Breslau in 1938).

With dozens of spectacular full-page and half-page photos, this 1938 first edition Verlag Heinrich Hoffmann book follows Adolf Hitler on his trip to the enormous sports festival in Breslau (after World War II Breslau became Wroclaw, Poland).
There are full- and half-page pictures of the participating athletes, huge Nazi flags, cheering crowds saluting Hitler, BdM girls, the stadium and city of Breslau, decorated for the special Nazi sport event.
There are forewords by both Dr. Frick, Reichsminister of the Interior and Reichssportführer von Tschammer und Osten.
Excellent, near-new condition with original dust jacket which shows slight wear. There is a dedication dated 1943 written in fountain pen on the page before the title page.
