Nazi Iron Cross 1st Class (Eisernes Kreuz I. Klasse)
Nazi EK I
This 100% original magnetic Third Reich Iron Cross First Class was never in the hands of a dealer or collector since the end of World War II, until we purchased it recently from the estate of the GI who brought it back to the United States in the summer of 1945. It has never been messed with and we did not even clean it up after acquiring it.

The Iron Cross 1st Class (Eisernes Kreuz I. Klasse) was an important German medal of valor and was awarded for bravery in battle as well as other military contributions in a battlefield environment. It was a well-made pin-on medal and was worn centered on the left uniform breast pocket.  It is among the most recognizable of all military medals ever made.
100% original Nazi Iron Cross, LDO 83
LDO 83, Emil Peukert Gablonz
This Iron Cross has 100% of its original natural patina on the black center, on the German silver metal frame and pin. The medal measures 45 mm from top to bottom and side to side and the pin is marked with the LDO or Leistungsgemeinschaft der deutschen Ordenhersteller (Standards Association of German Order Manufacturers) number 83 for the firm of Emil Peukert, a medal maker located in the town of Gablonz on the Neisse river in the German Sudetenland. The town is now called Jablonec nad Nisou in the Czech Republic, and it is well-known for its glass and jewelry production.
If you are looking for an absolutely honest World War II Nazi Iron Cross First Class manufactured by a rare maker, here it is. In fine condition with honest aging, and 100% of its original patina!
