This is a very fine example of the extremely rare 9 x 11 inch, 304 page, very heavily illustrated hardcover book ,,Weltentscheidung in der Judenfrage’’ (World Decisions with Regard to the Jewish Question) as published in cooperation with the German Institute for the Study of the Jewish Question in 1939 by Zwinger Verlag of Dresden, Germany. The book was written by a panel of well-known mostly German anti-Jewish authors including Ministerialrat Dr. Wilhelm Ziegler, Dr. Johann von Leers, Hermann E. Seifert, Hans Georg Trurnit, Herbert Jobst and others.

This is really the Nazi encyclopedia that purports to explain how Jews have from the earliest days of recorded history, sought and managed to infiltrate and then destroy the societies that hosted their presence.

Beginning with well-known personalities from the time of Cicero and King Hadrian it cites examples such as “Jud Suss” Oppenheimer, the Rothschild family, the Hofjuden of the European Courts, etc. It then concentrates on the opinions of thinkers like Fichte, Arndt, Bismarck, Wagner and Schoppenhauer on Jews, and enters the modern era with Dietrich Eckart.

From page 41 newspaper man Kurt Frowein sets the stage about writing about how National Socialism finally confronted the Jews in Germany with the rule of law. That is followed by photos and indictments of the most awful people imaginable and an explanation of how their influence had been eliminated.

There are chapters on the impact of Jews on the economy, the end of the Jewish “safe haven” in Czechoslovakia, Jewish immigration to Palestine, Jews in Italy and how they are dealt with there, the worldwide battle against Jews especially in France and England (photographs of Mosley and Arnold Leese and his Imperial Fascist League), and the organized Jewish intelligence in Holland, Belgium and Switzerland.

Other chapters deal with the battle against Jews in Scandinavia, in Poland, Lithuania, Slovakia, Hungary, Rumania, South Africa and Australia. There is a large chapter on “North America and its Jews”, one on Latin America (“no longer paradise for Jews!”), and the British/Jewish War in Arab countries to provide a homeland for Jews.

Those chapters are all heavily illustrated with photographs, drawings and caricatures of the most anti-Jewish sort. One of the final chapters purports to explain “The War of 1939 - a Work of World Judaism”. Finally, there is a chapter of quotations from the speeches and writings of famous Jews from Emil Ludwig Cohn and Theodor Herzl to Albert Einstein and Arnold Zweig that are said to support the conclusions in the earlier parts of the book. Those are followed by quotes from the Talmud with the same purpose intended.

Few examples of this book still exist outside of museums and this one is in good used condition. There are stains at the top of the front cover and the front flyleaf has been removed. The text of the book is complete with all photos and in very good condition.
