This is an extremely anti-Jewish 72 page book measuring 4-3/4 x 7-1/2 inches with 12 pages of very intricate anti-Semitic artwork. The front cover illustration shows a menacing Jew waving a cat-o'-nine-tails over the heads of Germanic farmers, laborers and mothers. The book was published by Heimat Verlag in Graz but without a publication date.

The text of Judentum und Sozialdemokratie purports to explain Jewish Economics, Who The Jews Are, Why Jews Behave The Way They Do, and many other aspects of the relationships of Jews with non-Jews in German speaking countries. Jews are portrayed as something vastly different from Germans, as those who oppress and control workers, as the founders and perpetrators of communism, as traitors of Austria and Germany in World War I, etc.

A chart in the book provides a long list of those the book claims established communism within Austria and Germany, and all were Jews. Another charts lists the hundreds of Jews (not by name) who held positions of Kommissar, Member of the Soviet, and those who published newspapers in the Soviet Union.  One of the full-page illustrations shows an aryan looking man having his hands tied and pockets picked while a French soldier holds a gun to his head and Jews look on from a distance. The slogan "International Solidarity" is at the bottom.

If you have an interest in the German language anti-Semitic literature of the immediate pre-World War II period, Judentum und Sozialdemokratie is a very important book. Very good condition.
