This is a fine example of the big 7 x 9-3/4 inch, 244 page, very heavily illustrated hardcover Third Reich photo portrait book ,,Unsere Deutschen Kinder’’ (Our German Children) as published by G. Schönfeld’s Verlag in Berlin, probably in 1941.

The undated book contains 140 pages of text and 104 portraits by one of Nazi Germany’s most famous photographers, Erna Lendvai-Dircksen.

Erna Lendvai-Dircksen was well-known in the Germany of Adolf Hitler for her superb photographic studies such as ,,Reichsautobahn - Werk und Mensch’’ first published in 1937. The book we offer here covers the subject of child photography in Germany as no other book does, featuring over 100 portraits taken throughout Germany and accompanied by a complimentary text by Paul Seelhoff.

This book is from the very small Second Edition of only 4000 copies. Remarkable! Very good condition, with rare original dust jacket.
