NAZI SMALL BORE RIFLE HANDBOOK

Das Kleinkaliberschießen
,,DAS KLEINKALIBERSCHIEßEN’’ (SHOOTING THE SMALL BORE RIFLE)
NAZI MILITARY HANDBOOK
This is an excellent 4-1/8 x 5-3/4 inch, 48 page illustrated, softcover handbook of information on shooting the small bore (.22 caliber or 5.6 mm) Deutsche Sportmodell version of the 98k bolt action army rifle. That rifle looked and functioned very much like the standard 8 mm German military rifle and was widely used to train Wehrmacht soldiers to shoot during the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler.

The book text and its 20 illustrations nicely cover the weapon, learning to shoot it, care and cleaning of it, ammunition for it, etc. The last page is a 5-3/4 x 10-3/4 inch fold-out showing three long views of the rifle including a phantom view.

The book was published by Heinz Denckler Verlag in Berlin. It is undated but appears to have been published in 1940 or 1941. Rare and in very good condition.
