This is a very good original example of the February 1941 issue of the scarce Nazi magazine ,,Kriegskunst in Wort und Bild’’ (War Art in Word and Picture) as published by Major Bodo Zimmermann of military publisher Verlag ,,Offene Worte’’ in Berlin in cooperation with the Wehrmacht Oberkommando des Heeres.

Like other issues of the 6 x 9 inch, 28 page monthly, this issues contains well illustrated stories of individual and unit heroism perfectly explained with very detailed maps.

In addition to the internal content, the back cover of this extraordinary issue is an advertisement for a special 7-color poster measuring 88 x 120 cm (34 x 47 inches) which shows the uniforms, insignia, belt buckles, etc. of the troops of the Waffen-SS.

The advertisement says that the poster was published by Verlag ,,Offene Worte’’ in cooperation with “The Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler and the Chief of German Police”.
