Nazi Industrie und Handelskammer document
This grouping consists of two very rare German Navy Lehrbrief or diploma: both were issued by the Nazi Industrie und Handelskammer in Oldenburg to Heinz-Georg Schröder on 31 March 1943 when he was certified as an Elektroinstalleur or installer of electrical equipment on ships.
Facharbeiter Prüfungszeugnis
The 6-1/8 x 8-1/2 inch (folds to 4-1/4 x 6-1/8 inches) hardcover blue diploma case makes it clear that the Industrie und Handelskammer in Oldenburg was responsible for this sort of training for the German Naval Wharf in Wilhelmshaven.
Kriegsmarine document
The second diploma measures 5-1/4 x 7-7/8 inch and fits in a slot in the back cover of the blue diploma case. The front and back cover of the diploma case are beautifully embossed with gold blocking.
