This lot consists of two very heavily illustrated softcover books each measuring about 4-3/4 x 6-3/4 inches, one of 64 pages and the other of 56 pages. They were published as text books for students at a Nazi era driving school in Gablonz.

One book is Lehrbrief ,,Technik’’ or the “Basic Principals of Cars, Motors, Transmissions, Motorcycles”, etc. There are lots of colorful line illustrations, and there is a handwritten name in the front and a few notes in the back.

The other book is Lehrbrief ,,Verkehr’’ or “Rules of Traffic”. It has very colorful line drawings of the classes of vehicles in Nazi Germany, traffic signs and signals, example of good and bad driving, DUI, military situations, etc. There is a multipage road sign supplement in the back. The same owner’s name is inside the front cover. Good condition.
