THE REINHARD HEYDRICH FUNERAL ISSUE
OF THE MONTHLY SS MAGAZINE

Reinhard Heydrich was perhaps the ablest Nazi of them all - a SS-General, Police General, Luftwaffe pilot, a remarkable linguist, a wonderful musician and a superb bureaucrat. He was assassinated in Prag (Prague, Praha) in the spring of 1942 only a few months after Hitler appointed him the Acting German Governor of Bohemia and Moravia.

This perfect reprint of an original SS magazine contains the final tributes of Adolf Hitler and Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler to their friend and comrade, SS-Obergruppenführer Reinhard Eugen Tristan Heydrich on 9 June 1942 during the grandest state funeral to take place in Germany during World War II. Their eulogies to the slain Acting Reichsprotektor of Bohemia and Moravia were recorded in the June 1942 issue of the SS-magazine Germanische Leithefte. The American translation of the complete text is on the first and last two pages and can be removed without damaging the replica publication.
