RARE NAZI SILVERWARE - LUFTWAFFE

RARE THIRD REICH LUFTWAFFE 7-1/8 INCH
LONG DINNER FORK ALPACA

| This is a very nice example of a single piece from a Third Reich era German Luftwaffe dinner service set. It is a dinner fork measuring 18 cm (7-1/8 inches) from the tip of the tines to the tip of the handle. Stamped in the area usually reserved for a monogram is a Luftwaffe eagle clutching a swastika in its talons. |

| In the center of the backside of the handle is the stamped logo of the manufacturer which we have included as photo number 4 (below right). We can not make out the name of the manufacturer or the detail of what appears to be a heart-shaped logo, but the word below the logo is ALPACA. The letters above the word ALPACA look like MERAZKA. While the word is very likely not correct as we have spelled it, it may help a potential buyer to identify this piece. |

Alpaca is of course, a metal developed by the Wellner company, that contains no silver but polishes and looks like silver. Very good condition.
