This rare book is called München - Hauptstadt der Bewegung or “Munich - Capital of the [Nazi] Movement”. It is by far the best Third Reich photo book and travel guide on the Bavarian city of Munich! Published by the office of Nazi Lord Mayor Karl Fiehler, the target audience was definitely international visitors as the captions in this heavily illustrated book are in German, English, Spanish and Italian.
The book starts out with a list of the “Places Sacred to the National Socialist Movement” accompanied by large, clear photographs of them: the Feldherrnhalle, Braunes Haus, Königsplatz, the Ehrentempel or Honor Temple for the fallen martyrs of the 1923 Putsch, as well as SS and SA formations, and more.
That setion is followed by suggestions of what to do and see during a “Week in München”: museums, churches, theaters, the famous Glockenspiel on the Marienplatz, the Hofbräuhaus beer hall, Oktoberfest, shopping, the zoo, Schloss Nymphenburg, etc. Opening days and hours are listed.
The section with suggested excursions outside of Munich has beautiful photographs of the Reichsautobahn, Schloss Herrenchiemsee, Berchtesgaden, the Konigssee, the Zugspitze, Bad Tölz, people dressed in folklore outfits, Alpine scenery of the Allgäu and of course, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and its Olympic facilities (Rudolf Hess on skies!)

This softcover book measures 8-1/4 x 11 inches, contains 116 heavily illustrated pages, and was published by Boris Spahn in Berlin. The internal pages are in very good condition, the cover shows considerable wear (see photo at the top of this web page).
The book is undated but was probably published around 1938, based on pictures of Riem Airport, Autobahn construction, etc.
This particular example of München - Hauptstadt der Bewegung was purchased in Munich during the Adolf Hitler Urlaub or Adolf Hitler Vacation in the summer of 1938. The people on this outing signed the title page and also had it stamped at the "Historic Hall of the NSDAP" in the famous Bürger-Bräu beer hall in Munich.
