This is a nice example of the seldom-seen 5-3/4 x 8-1/4 inch, 96 page illustrated guidebook to an exhibition called "The War in Books and Pictures" sponsored by the Wehrkreiskommando XIII, Gaupropagandaleitung Franken and the city of the Nazi Party Days, Nürnberg. The exhibit was held in the Fränkische Gallerie in Nürnberg from 1 March through 30 April 1941.

Subject matter of the exhibition ran the gamut from early wars to Conrad Hommel's famous portrait of Adolf Hitler as Führer and Oberste Befehlshaber and a World War I transfer document for Gefreiter Adolf Hitler. There is a reproduction of a combat painting by Elk Eber, a photograph of Hitler taken at Reichsparteitag 1929 and even a section of what was called the "German-Polish-English-French War" of 1939!

This 1941 Nazi war art exhibition guidebook is in good condition.
