| An absolutely authentic original - not a copy or a repro. This is a very well marked 5/8 x 12-3/4 inch adjustable two-buckle Nazi Sturmriemen or leather chin strap. It is precisely the type that goes just below the wreath of oak leaves on the Schirmmützen or visor caps worn by men and NCOs of the German Wehrmacht, or just below the skull on the Schirmmützen or visor caps worn by men and NCOs of the Waffen-SS during the Third Reich of Adolf Hitler. |

The front of the three-piece strap is shiny black and the surface is in very good condition. The backside is russet leather and the long adjustable center section is stamped Gustav Endriss 1938. The metal buckles and loops have a black enamel finish. The leather is very supple, not brittle at all.
This strap would greatly increase the value of any cap that does not have one. Great condition.
